Asim khan move into Main round of $15,000 Men's Arnold Homes Tring Open 2018
Asim khan defeated Shahjaha Khan by 3-0 to move into the main round of $15,000 Men's Arnold Homes Tring Open 2018 at Tring Squash Club, Tring, Herts, England.
The top six seeds are joined by 20 more players, eight of whom are currently ranked in the PSA top 100. With four spots in the main draw available through qualifying of the 2018 Arnold Homes Tring Open where Pakistan’s Asim khan defeated Shahjaha Khan to book the berth in the main round.
Third seed Asim khan played confidently and easily defeated Shahjaha Khan in first game by 11-6. Lahori player faced fair bit of resistance against Quetta born player as both tried hard to get commanding position but the game ended in Asim khan favor by 11-9. Asim did not allow him to play freely and won the last game by 11-7 and move into the main round of Men's Arnold Homes Tring Open 2018 after 44 minute battle.
Today Asim khan will face second seed Joel Makin from Wales on 12:30 AM (PST) while Ahsan Ayaz of Pakistan is also participating in the tournament and today he will face seventh seed Ramit Tandon of India on 9:30PM in main round.
