Aisam-Saitiago start Internazaionali BNL d’Italia campaign with a win
Pakistan’s Tennis ace Aisam -ul-Haq along with Saitiago Gonzalez trashed duo of Diego & Denis by 2-0 to move into the pre-quarterfinal of Internazaionali BNL d’Italia in Rome, Itlay.
Aisam Ul Haq and partner Saitiago Gonzalez edges out Argentinean-Canada pair of Diego Schwartzman and Denis Shapovalov in two sets by 6-2,6-2 to book their berth in quarterfinal of Internazaionali BNL d’Italia tennis tournament in 55 minutes struggle.
The match started with a break when Asiam & duo broke the opening serve of Diego & Denis to take the 1-0 lead. The PaK-Mexico pair kept the pressure on the opponents and broke the 4th service game of Diego & Denis to enhance the lead to 5-2 and sealed the set in the next game by 6-2 in 27 minutes.
The second set was a similar tale as Aisam-Saitiago broke the 2nd & 4th serves without any resistance to win the set and match in 28 minutes.
Aisam -ul-Haq and Saitiago Gonzalez will now face world # 1 and top seeded team of Lukasz Melo & Marcelo Kubot in the pre-quarterfinal of Internazaionali BNL d’Italia.
