Aqeel, Abid in SNGPL All Pakistan Tennis final
Aqeel Khan will compete against Muhammad Abid in men’s single final of 2nd SNGPL All Pakistan Tennis Championship at PLTA Tennis Courts Bagh-e-Jinnah Lahore.
More than 200 players from all over Pakistan are participating in the SNGPL All Pakistan Tennis Championship at Punjab Tennis Academy Bagh-e-Jinnah Lahore. Today concluding ceremony will be start at 5:00 pm where MD SNGPL Amjad Latif will be the chief guest while men’s single final between Aqeel Khan and Muhammad Abid will be played at 3:30 pm.
Under 16 Boys, Under 18, Under 12, Under 14 doubles and Girls under 18 finals completed in which SNGPL players won. At this moment Secretory PLTA Rashid Malik, Sports officer SNGPL Muhammad Haroon, Chief Referee Arif Qureshi and Faheem Siddique were present there.
In Under 16 Boys Final Aqib Hayyat of SNGPL outplayed Nalain Abas of Lahore in a one sided final by 6-3, 6-2 and won the Under 16 Boys title. In Under 18 doubles finals Pair from SNGPL Saqib Hayyat and Muhammad Shoaib out classed Ahmed Kamil and Zalan Khan by 6-3, 6-3 and won the title.
In Under 12 Boys single final Hamid Israr of Peshawar defeated Bilal Asim of LGS Lahore by 6-3, 6-2 and won the title. In Under 14 doubles final Hamid Israr and Hassan Ali outplayed Uzair Khan and Kashan Umer by 6-4, 7-5 and won the title in a very close contest.
In Girls under 18 first semifinal Shimza Tahir outplayed Nida Akram by 6-1, 6-2, in 2nd Semifinal Maha Said defeated Malika Malik in a tough competition by 6-4, 7-5 and move into the final.
