Islamabad wins tape ball cricket tournament
Islamabad defeated Okara by 43 runs to win the Tape ball cricket tournament played at Lahore City Cricket Association Ground.
TPL and Telenor organized tape ball cricket tournament in Lahore City Cricket Association Ground. Batting first, Islamabad scored 97 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in allotted 6 overs. Zahid played brilliantly for his 75 runs and he faced just 21 balls with the help of 7 huge sixes and 7 boundaries while Tahir scored 11 runs. Allah Wasays got 2 wickets for Okara.
In reply Okara team could only managed to scored 56 runs for 4 wickets in stipulated 6 overs. Allah Wasaya scored 25 runs and murtaza 15. Hassan, Zahid, and Raja got 1 wicket each for Islamabad. Zahid from Islamabad united declared Man of the Final match he also achieved man of series award.
Total six teams took part in the tournament that includes Okara, Lahore Qalandar, Islamabad United, Central Region, Faisalabad and Gujranwala.
