Asif humbles Kenyan boxer in Commonwealth games
Pakistani boxer Syed Muhammad Asif defeated Kenyan boxer in the 52kg bout category at Oxenford Studios in the XXI gold coast commonwealth games, Australia.
Man in green Syed Muhammad Asif defeated Kenyan boxer Brian Agina in the pre-quarterfinal round in a split decision of 5 judges by 4-1. Asif now moved into the quarterfinal round of the commonwealth games in 52kg weight category.
Asif dominated the first round by 49-46 while four of five judges declared Asif winner in the second round as he won the second round by 48-47. He won the last round by the score of 49-46 and humbles Brian Agina with overall score of 146-139 in 3 three rounds.
Asif to fight against Scottish boxer Reece McFadden in the quarterfinal of 52kg bout on Wednesday.
