International stars to participate in Pakistan's Super Kabaddi League
A number of foreign players have shown interests to be the part Pakistan’s Super Kabaddi League season 1.
Foreign players of many countries agreed to participate in Pakistan’s first ever Super Kabaddi League (SKL) that is schedule to take place in April-May this year. Players from Bangladesh, India, Iran, Iraq, Japan, Kenya, South Korea, Malaysia, Poland, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkmenistan, the UK and USA have shown keen interest to become the part of Super Kabaddi League.
Spokesman for Pakistan Kabaddi Federation has said that Super Kabaddi League is in positive contact with the federations of several countries to send their players to take part in the League as Kabaddi has gained enormous public attention globally in the recent years.
“Not only it helps the players economically but also they will get the experience and exposure playing against international players and we are very hopeful to welcome top talent from several countries in Super Kabaddi League” the spokesperson added.
Chairman Super Kabaddi League Haider Ali Daud while talking to media has said that Pakistan Kabaddi Federation is playing an important role in ensuring participation of international players in the League and the Super League will bring the best. It also helps people to re-discover how entertaining Kabaddi can be for all age groups, he added.
It is pertinent to mention here that The International Kabaddi Federation (IKF) has endorsed Super Kabaddi League and also gave the rights to use IKF’s logo for SKL season 1.
