SICAS Tennis Championship move into Quarterfinal stage
In the under-18 Girls event Mahnoor, Zahra and Malika move into the quarterfinals of SICAS Inter School / Collegiate Tennis tournament 2018 at PLTA Tennis Courts Lahore.
On the second day of the SICAS Inter School / Collegiate Tennis tournament 2018 here at PLTA Tennis Courts Lahore, twenty-three matches were played in Under-18, Under-14 and Under-12 categories. In U-18’s boys and girls, the winners have entered the pre-quarter-finals. While in U-14, the winners qualified for the second round. In U-12 boys and U-18 girls event the winners qualify for Quarterfinals.
In Under 18 Harris Wahala outshines Inam Arif in a one sided encounter by 6-3, Hashim Ali outplayed Jabir Ali by 6-4, Bilal Asim thrashed Mohammad Zubair by 6-0, Muhammad Huzaifa defeated Abdullah Hamid by 6-2, Abdul Hanan Khan beat Saad by 6-2, Zain Chudhary beat Abdul Rafay by 6-1 and qualifies for pre quarterfinals.
In under 18 Girls event Mahnoor thrashed Alma Nasim of SICAS as she did not allow her to play freely and defeated her in a one sided encounter by 6-2, Zahra Suleman defeated Ayesha Asim by 6-1 while Malika Malik defeated Ayesha by 6-3 and qualify for quarterfinals of SICAS School event.
In Under 14 boys first round Abdul Hanan Khan defeated Ahmed Tahir by 6-0, Mohammad Harris beat Hussnain ali by 6-1, Bilal Asim beat Bilal Waheed by 6-0, Ehtasham Arif beat Zain Ch by 6-4, Saheel Tahir beat Waleed Javed by 6-2, Hamaza Jawad beat Saeed Suleman, Haider Ali Rizwan beat Asnan Haseeb by 6-3, Hassan Ali beat Abdul Rafey by 6-0 to qualify for next round.
In Under 12 Pre Quarter Finals Bilal Asim beat Aqsa Akram by 6-0, Abubaker Khalil beat Mustafa Fahad by 6-3, Asad beat Waleed Javied by 7-6, Hamaza Ali Rizwan beat Shahzeb by 6-3, Ehtasham Arif beat Ameer Hamza by 6-3, Hussnain Ali Rizwan beat Ammar Faisal by 6-1 and Shahel Tahir beat Yafat Nadeem by 6-3 and qualify for Quarterfinals.
