Karachi to host Classic Football League
Private sector has taken the initiative to hold classic football league this year in which top players of Pakistan will take part.
Karachi to host Classic Football League (CFL) this year and top lot of Pakistani footballers have agreed to take part in the league as ‘Platinum Players’. This category includes the players who have represented Pakistan at international level.
Young, enthusiastic quality football players from all over the country will take part in the franchise model league and Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has announced to support the league to promote and develop the game of football.
President PFF Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat in his statement has said that PFF will support all those initiatives to help and develop Pakistan Football which was badly damaged due to the stoppage of football in Pakistan during the last three years.
“Now is the time to work together for the promotion of Football and PFF invites all the segment of Pakistani society to join hands to match the rapid pace in growth of football in other countries of the region” he added.
He also assured private sector and especially corporate sector to come out and play their roles in the process of football development in Pakistan and PFF will provide them all the required support and exposure.
