Pakistan outplayed Sri Lanka by One Wicket In 1st T-20
Pakistan Women Cricket team in a low scoring thriller defeated Sri Lanka by one wicket in the first of three t20 match series at Colombo.
After being put into bat, the Sri Lankan women were restricted by Pakistan to a modest 129-6. Opener Anushka Sanjeewani remains top scorer with 61 runs knock. She hit 8 boundaries. Nilakshi de Silva made unbeaten 35 runs. For Pakistan, Diana Baig and Sana Mir took two wickets each.
In reply, Pakistan women achieved the 130 run target for the loss of nine wickets in 19.5 over's. Pakistan’s in form batswoman Javeria Khan struck a brisk half-century to steer team to a thrilling victory with 52 runs while skipper Bismah Maroof added 42 runs. For Sri Lanka, Sugandika Kumari took three wickets.
The second and third match will be played on 30th and 31st March.
