Asian under-21 snooker championship concluded at Yangon where Pakistani cueist Haris Tahir secured silver medal while Mohammad Shahbaz did Pakistan proud by capturing bronze in the 19th Asian Under-21 Snooker Championship in Yangon.
According to the results, Myanmar’s Aung Phyo overpowered Haris by 6-4 in the final. Phyo showed great fighting skills in a tough battle by 4-93, 112-7, 58-51, 24-97, 47-69, 72-28, 44-52, 55-42, 77-24, 59-46. Earlier, Haris sneaked into the final when he defeated Mohammad Shahbaz by 5-1 and the score line was 78-20, 73-6, 70-26, 47-73, 59-19, 68-14 in the all-Pakistan semi-final.
