Thai golfer Sarunchana leading day one of Ladies Golf Championship

Miss Sarunchana Rattanasi of Thailand leading the day one of ongoing 3rd PGF ladies golf championship played at Islamabad Golf Course.

Championship is anticipated to show a strong competition amongst Bangla, Thai and local competitors. The championship began with 70 contestants from Bangladesh, Thailand and Pakistan. Thai players dominated the game with their exceptional golfing skills. However, Miss Sarunchana Rattanasi dominated the day with her accurately loaded shots. Her magnificent performance is evident from her gross score of 67, with 5 birdies and 13 pars. She was also the most excited and the satisfied player of the day from golf round.

Another dominating name of the day from Thailand, Jantita Anugusee Wong, also rose for her distinction in applying golfing skills. As a second position holder in first round, her gross score was 72. Miss Sonia Akhtar from Bangladesh enjoys 3rd place with 76 being her gross score. Her distinction is basically her courage to keep performing better and keep giving her followers tough time in the days to come.

The first day gave a good number of surprises in terms of game, gaming ability and application of game skills. Other players who emerged as good ones are Liza Akhter (Bangla Desh) at 80, Humera Khalid (DHA Karachi) at 81, Ghazala Yasmin (Garrison Lahore) at 82, Hamna Amjad (Kamra) at 83, Tahira Nazir (Rawalpindi) & Rimsha Ijaz (Defence Raya, Lahore) at 85, Tehmina Ali (Karachi Golf Club) 87, Parkha Ijaz (Defence Raya, Lahore) 88 and Ana James Gill (Royal Palm) at gross 89 score.

The Silver and Bronze categories races are expected to bring more surprises tomorrow.
