Haris win National Junior Squash Championship Title
In the all Punjab final, Haris Qasim defeated Oan Abbas to win the U-19 title of All Pakistan National Junior Squash Championship at PSA international complex.
Haris thrashed Oan Abbas in straight games by 11-3,11-9,11-6 in just 22 minutes. Oan tried to engage Haris in rallies but he cut down his efforts and amazed the audience by his agility and aggressive shootings.
Haris after winning the match said that he will how consistency by producing good results in coming national junior squash events.
In the U-17 final, Farhan Hashmi of SNGPL shines after beating KPK’s Saqib Iqbal in straight games by 11-9, 11-3 and 11-7 in 31 minutes.
Farhan was well ahead of Saqib in all the departments of the game as he displayed superb back and fore hand shots to leave opponent helpless at many occasions while Saqib always remained behind as he was playing with defensive approach.
