PTF to hold trails for Uzbekistan Davis Cup tie

Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) is going to hold two-day trials on March 18-19 for Davis Cup tie against Uzbekistan begin held from April 6 at the grasscourts of Pakistan Sports Complex, Islamabad.

Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) is optimistic about clinching the upcoming Davis Cup tie against Uzbekistan which will held in Islamabad from April 6 at the grasscourts of Pakistan Sports Complex. 

PTF is going to hold two-day trials on March 18-19 to select two players who will join the already announced trio of Aisam-ul-Haq, Aqeel Khan and Muzammil Murtaza.

For the trials, the PTF has asked three juniors including Shoaib Khan, Saqib Umar and Yousaf Khan besides three senior players including Abid Mushtaq, Shahzad Khan, and Heera Ashiq to participate.

PTF aims to field five players for Pakistan against Uzbekistan. It may be mentioned here that the talented Abid Ali Akbar, who represented Pakistan against South Korea last month, is not available this time.
