Ammad qualifies for Qatar Squash Championship quarterfinals
Top Pakistani ace Mohammad Ammad through to the quarterfinals of under-13 category in the ongoing Qatar Junior Squash Championship.
12 years old Ammad overpowered Rohan Arya of USA in the pre-quarterfinal round. Mohammad Ammad hailing from PAF squash Academy Peshawar played exceptionally well against his US opponent and outclassed him in straight sets.
Winning score of Mohammad Ammad remains 11-7, 11-5 and 11-7. Earlier, Ammad defeated Qatar’s local Jassim Ali Thani in straight sets with a scoreline of 11-2, 11-6 and 11-7.
According to Ammad’s father, he is hopeful to qualify for the championships semifinals.
