Golden Eagles beat Lahore Badshah in Amar Cables T20 league
Salman Khan steers Golden Eagles to victory over Lahore Badshah in a thrilling match of ongoing Amar Cables T20 league match played at Shah Faisal ground Lahore.
Lahore Badshah while batting first posted 142/7 on board where Safdar Ali played a glittering innings of 84 runs. Mohammad Hafeez picked up 3 wickets for 17 while Rashid Latif (jr) got 2/14 and Muhammad Saeed, Shabbir Khan got one wicket apiece for Golden Eagles.
In reply with the help of 6 boundaries and 1 huge six, Salm Khan’s quick fire 73 runs helped Golden Eagles to chase down the target in last over with 3 balls remaining for the loss of 5 wickets as they won the match by 5 wickets. Mohammad Hafeez also scored 34 runs.
Qaisar Nadeem grabbed 3 wickets for 34 while Shahqat Butt got 2 for 20 runs. Salman Khan received match of the match award for his match winning innings.
