PSL-3 glittering trophy unveiled in Dubai

The trophy of third edition of Pakistan Super league was received by six team captains and unveiled at the Dubai Cricket stadium.

 

Before the trophy of PSL-3 was unveiled, it was carried out through a special “Uber Trophy Handover”. Later the trophy was received by the team captains who handed it to regaining captain Peshawar Zalmi’s Darren Sammy who was driven on a Uber Limousine along with the captains of five other teams Brendon McCullum (Lahore Qalandars), Shoaib Malik (Multan Sultans), Misbahul Haq (Islamabad United), Imad Wasim (Karachi Kings) and Sarfraz Ahmed (Quetta Gladiators).

Chairman PCB Najam Sethi while talking on the occasion expressed his gratitude to all the stakeholders of the tournament. “I wish all captains the very best and I hope that we will see some exciting cricket over the course of the next one month both in the UAE and the last leg in Pakistan” he said.
Chief Marketing Officer HBL, Naveed Asghar also expressed his best wishes for all the participating teams and players and declares to continue their support for the prestigious league.

In PSL-3, three new individual trophies were also added in the list for the best performers of the league includes Player of the tournament, best batsman, best bowler, safest hands (best wicketkeeper) best player on the field and spirit of cricket award.

PSL’s third edition will kick off in Dubai on Thursday 22nd February. In the opening ceremony, legendary Sufi singer Abida parveen and American Pop musician Jason Derulo along with local heartthrobs Ali Zafar and Shahzad Roy will entertain the crowed.

The tournament’s opener will be played between the defending champions Peshawar Zalmi and new entrants Multan Sultan at 10:00pm in Dubai. Total 34 matches will be played in different venues of Dubai, Sarjah and Lahore followed by the big Final in Karachi’s National cricket stadium on 25th March 2018.
