Pakistan to play Brazil in friendly Futsal match today
Pakistan to play against Brazil in a friendly futsal match today at Karachi Port Trust stadium.
Match will start at 2:30pm. Vice-president Sindh Soccer Futsal Association Qamar Yar Khan said 9-member Brazilian team which is already in Pakistan and won the International futsal competition will arrive Karachi before the start of the match.
He said tight security measures have taken to secure the area for the match. We have selected 18 players through open trails at KPT stadium on Saturday and shortlist 12 members to represent Pakistan in the exhibition-friendly match. Qamar Added.
He said all the district and provincial metropolis have advised to cancel their activities so people would come over and enjoy the match in the ground.
Chairman KPT Rear Admiral Jameel Akhter will be the chief guest on the occasion. Qamar Said playing against the national side of Brazil, our youngsters will get huge exposure of the game and it would be interesting to watch local players playing against a top class international side. Brazilian team will leave on Tuesday morning after staying for a night in Karachi.
Qamar Added that there will be no entry fee for the match and people can come to watch the match and for this people can use all four gates except the main gate which will be used for VIP entry only.
