Pakistan overpower Oman in Triangular Hockey series opener
Pakistan hockey team defeated Oman in a one sided encounter by 3-0 in Oman Triangular series at Muscat’s Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex.
On the opening day of Oman Triangular series, first match was played between Pakistan and Oman where Pakistan team showed a marvelous performance as they outclassed hosts Oman by 3-0 to take the winning start in the tri-Nation hockey tournament.
In the 13th minute of 1st quarter Ali Shan scored a beautiful goal for Pakistan. Oman did not manage to score any goal but in the 21th minute of 2nd quarter, Ajaz Ahmad scored another goal for Pakistan. Third quarter was futile as no goal was scored by any but in 45th minute of 4th quarter, Shafqat Rasool struck a goal and Pakistan take undeniable lead of 3-0.
Today Pakistan will face Japan in the second match of Oman Triangular hockey series at 7:00 PM (PST).
