Pepsi Twenty20 Cricket Gala continue in full swing

Meezan Bank defeated Wateen by 8 wickets in the first match. Wateen while batting first only managed to score 83 runs and Meezan Bank easily achieved the target for the loss of 2 wickets. Salman Ahmed with 58 runs emerged as top scorer.

In a thrilling second match, DGS outplayed 3D Modeling by just 3 runs. DGS bat first and set the target of 190 runs where Adeel scored a glittering innings of 86 runs while Umar contributed 48 runs. Muhammad Sadddique picked up 4 wickets from 3DM. in reply, although 3DM started well but fall 3 runs short in a nail-biting contest.

Another match was played between Nestle and UBL where Nestle fought well to win the match by 11 runs. Nestle, while batting first posted a big total of 197 runs as Nauman becomes the top scorer with 64 runs followed by Hamid Hayat 32. UBL while chasing the score, only managed to score 186 runs for the loss of 7 wickets as Nestle won the match by 11 runs.

In the last match of the day, Descon proved too big for Abacus as they thrashed them by a huge margin of 60 runs. CSP chief organizer Abdul Suboor Khawaja said that all the matches were organized in pleasant environment in which some players played beautiful individual innings and bowled well to help their teams win crucial matches.
