Gladiators announce team for All-star Muqabla against United

Gladiator’s skipper Sarfraz Ahmed along with former Pakistan captain Moin Khan, team owner Nadeem Omar, former all-rounder Abdul Razzaq, test batsman Asad Shafiq, Anwar Ali, Rameez Raja jr, Umar Amin, Mohammad Junaid, Mohammad Azam Khan, Faraz Ahmed Khan, Nabeel Hashmi, Waqar Ali Syed and Hasan Omar are part of the squad.

Some celebrities would be seen in action are film star Saud, actors Feroz Khan, Shahroz Sabzwari, singers Fakhir and Aima Baig.

Crowed can cathch the sights of former captain Mishab ul Haq, former captain and coach Waqar Younis, Rumman Raees, Shadab Khan and others from Islamabad United.

Gladiator’s skipper Sarfraz requested people of twin cities to come and watch the match in the Rawalpindi cricket stadium and support both the teams in the all-star muqabla. Match will start at 5:15pm (PST).

Talking to media he said that Quetta Gladiators has taken a big initiative to launch its all-stars team. “We are playing against the United in our first exhibition match and I request the people of Rawalpindi and Islamabad to be the part of celebrations” Skipper Sarfraz said.

Team Manager Azam Khan added that people will see good cricket along with the entertainment and apart from match a series of musical performances have been arranged for general public.

Earlier in a press conference, Islamabad United owner Ali Naqvi had said that first leg of the match will be held in Rawalpindi cricket stadium on 15th February while United will visit Quetta for the second leg of the match after PSL-3.
