Ice Cricket: Afridi Royals to challenge Sehwag Diamonds in St Moritz
First time in the cricketing history, Afridi Royals and Sehwag Diamonds will be playing not on the regular pitch but on the snowy peaks of the Swiss Alps.
Cricketing legends, Shahid Afridi and Indian Virender Sehwag will be leading their sides in two day event where people can witness the t20 cricket not on ground but on the ice. The event named as “St Moritz Ice Cricket 2018” and a good number of crowd can watch the cricket battle on the beautiful but breathtaking mountains of Switzerland in freezing cold temperature on 8 and 9 February 2018.
Afidi will be leading Royals while Sehwag leading Diamonds in the St Moritz Ice Cricket 2018. International stars featuring in the event are speed-star Shoaib Akhtar, Abdul Razzaq, Mahela Jayawardene, Jacques Kallis, Zaheer Khan, Michael Hussey and others.
Afridi known for his ability to hit massive sixes in the field will be point of attraction on the higher altitude along with Sehwag who also has the ability to play fast. Cricket stars termed the event as interesting challenge between the bat and ball.
The match will kick off at 4pm (PST).
