Pak skiers reach South Korea for Winter Olympics
Pakistani four members skiing squad has reached Seol, South Korea for participating in Winter Olympics 2018.
Pakistan team has two skiers Mohammad Karim and Syed Haman Shah along with two officials, Col (r) Mohammad Wali as team coach, Mohammad Sohail as team manager.
The event is scheduled to be held in Pyeongchang, South Korean from 9th to 25th February where skiers form 40 countries will be participating in different skiing categories.
Pakistani skiers will be seen in action in three different categories. Mohammad Karim, who also represented Pakistan in Sochi winter games 2014 will be competing in Slalom and Giant slalom categories while teammate and his 26 years old nephew Haman Shah will participate in Cross-country category.
Team manager Mohammad Sohail said the skiers went through intense training sessions and they are in good shape. Sohail is hopeful that he is hoping for some good performance from both skiers in the Winter Olympics.
