Indus Academy continue winning streak in basketball championship
Indus Academy continue its winnings form as their boys team perished City School PECHS in the ongoing Brig (r) Rashid Ali Malik Memorial Inter-school (A-Levels) boys and girls basketball championships at the Arambagh court, Karachi.
Indus Academy boys team humbled opponents City School PECHS by 23-5 and won the second successive game in the championship. After winning the two games in a row, Indus Academy is now into the quarterfinals of the championship.
Taimoor Saeed remained the top scorer with 10 points while Ayan scored four from Indus academy. Murtaza and Mubashir shared four points each from City School PECHS.
In another match in boys category, Habib public school got walkover against City School Darakshan Campus as they did not show up in the match.
The organizers suspended the third match scheduled between the KN Academy and Whales School boys teams as both the teams arrived late for the match.
The only girls’ match that was scheduled to be played between the City School PAF Chapter and Beaconhouse Johar was deferred on the request of both the teams.
