Pakistani skiers Karim, Haman to compete in Winter Olympics Games
Pakistan’s foremost skiers Muhammad Karim and Syed Haman Shah will represent the country in the Winter Olympics 2018 to be held in Pyeongchang, South Korea from Feb 9-25.
This is the first time when two Pakistani skiers have qualified for the Winter Olympics. More than 40 countries are participating in various competitions of the Winter Olympics Games 2018.
In Slalom category both the skiers get the slot in winter Olympics but Muhammad Karim is lucky enough to qualify for two categories that is Slalom and Giant Slalom.
Both the skiers showed a marvellous performance in qualifier of winter Olympics .Top coaches Captain (rtd) Zahid Hussain and Air Commodore (retd) Sohail are also very confident about the performance of the two skiers in the Games.
The media advisor SFP Obaidur Rehman Abbasi confirmed that the two skiers will be leaving for South Korea in the first week of February.
