Asim stuns Bukhari in Malaysian Tour-II Squash quarters
Malaysian Tour-I Squash winner Pakistani player Asim Khan outplayed countryman Syed Ali Mujhtaba Bukhari in the second round of Malaysian Tour-II Squash championship.
After the victory, Asim Khan moves into the quarterfinal stage of the tournament. Asim defeated Bukhari 3-1 in a hard fought match by 11-3, 10-12, 14-12, 11-8.
Both the players displayed their talent and played extremely well. Asim easily downs Ali in the first game by 11-3 but after that Ali Bukhari hit back Asim to win the second game by 12-10. The match was 1-1 and in the 3rd game both the players tried hard to beat the opponent but finally Asim covers up the game properly and won it by 14-12.
The score was 2-1 and that stage Bukhari almost gave away the match as Asim won the 4th game in comfortable position by 11-8 to won the match.
In the first round played earlier, Asim outplayed Korean Chang Wood 3-1 by the score of 10-12, 11-7, 11-5, 11-5 and Ali brushing aside Malaysian player Adeen Adraki 3-2 by 11-7, 5-11, 11-9, 10-12, 11-9.
