Battle Axe Polo Cup underway in Lahore
PAF won in first fixture, Barry’s in second match and Army in third match of Battle Axe Polo Cup at Garrison Polo & Saddle Club Lahore.
Battle Axe Polo Cup began under the supervision of Pakistan Polo Association. First tough match was played between Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and Pakistan Army where PAF beat Army in a nail-biting match by 6-5.
The second match of the Cup was played at Calvary Polo Ground where Barry`s defeated their opponent team Olympia in first forth chukkers by a huge margin. Barry’s remained victorious in one sided match by 9-4½.
Third match of the tournament was played between Army and Diamond Paints and it was Army who rule the day after a thrilling encounter and won it by 4-3.
PAF to take on Diamond paints at Fortress Stadium tomorrow at 2:00 pm while the same day Olympia and Barry’s will compete each other at 3:00 pm.
