Multan University wins Inter Collage Girls Athletic Championship
Multan Women University bagged 95 points to clinch first position, Govt Girls Collage Burewala and Vehari jointly secured the second spot with 38 points each at Multan Board ground.
Inter Collage Girls Athletics Championship was organized by Board of Education Multan. Multan Women University claimed the first position and surprised all with their leading performance by 95 points. Govt Girls Collage Burewala and Vehari tried hard to overcome each other but both ended on the second position.
Noor Ain from Women University Multan earned first position in 100 meter race, long jump, high jump and 800 meters race and nominated as the “Best Athlete” of the championship while Nida Akbar from the same university won first place in the Ammunition and disc throwing games.
Mian Channun won the inter district girls schools athletics Championship 129, 15L while the Government Girls High School 125, 15 L was the runner-up team with 48 points and Sadia awarded as the best athlete.
In two days contests held at Multan Board ground, 4x100 relay race Government Girls Central Jail claimed the first position while Government girls high school 125,15L secured the second spot and Government girls high school 129,15L secured the third position. In 100 meters race Asia won the first position while Sidra secured second and Arfa got third position.
In the overall competitions Multan Women University clinched the trophy of Inter Collage Girls championship while Government Girls high school 125,15L won the trophy of inter district girls schools athletics Championship.
Secretary Board of Education Multan Kastoora Jee Shad grace the ceremony as a chief guest as distributed prizes among the position holder players the controller Mohammad Zafar, Directory Sports Madam Rifat Naz, Shahid Gujjar were also present there.
