Ali Bukhari, Asim in semis of Malaysian Tour No-1
Pakistani players Syed Ali Mujtaba Shah Bukhari and Asim Khan progressed and moved to the semifinals of Malaysian Tour No-1 at Seri Menanti, Negeri Sembilan Malaysia.
Ali defeated qualifier from India, Guhan Senthilkumar in straight games by 11-9, 11-6, 11-6. The match lasted for 29 minutes. In the first game, Guhan resisted against Ali but after that Ali Bukhari came hard over Indian opponent and easily won the next two games.
In another quarterfinal, Asim shocked tournaments top seed Adden Idrakie from Malaysia by 11-7, 12-10, 7-11, 14-12 and match lasted for 76 minutes. Asim, from the start of match pressed no.1 seed but finally Idrakie managed to won the 3rd game but once again Asim came hot and won the fourth game to win the match.
Asim is up against third seed Abhay Singh from India and Ali will play against Muhd Hannan from Malaysia who has got a wild card in the semifinals.
