Pakistan qualifies for World Electronic Sports Games main round
Pakistan’s Electronic Sports team won the qualifiers for the World Electronic Sports Games (WESG), to be held in China this March.
Pakistan E-sports team won the three series by beating the Team Lebanon with 33-17 score in 34:54 time duration and qualified for the main event. For the every first time in history Pakistani E-sports team will represent the country in World Electronic Sports Games (WESG). Pakistan’s team consists of five players under the eSports brand Eximious eSports. All the five players are locals from Rawalpindi, Peshawar and Karachi.

The World Electronic Sports Games (WESG) has a prize money of $1.5 million, making it one of the leading tournaments of the Defense of the Ancients 2 (DotA 2) video game. Pakistani E-sports team will played against the well-known E-sports players Joakim Akterhall (Akke), Jonathan Berg (Loda) and Alexei Berezin (Solo).
