Pakistan beat Indonesia in Asian Games Qualifiers

Mayira Sabir's brace helped Pakistan to defeat Indonesia 3-0 in a one-sided qualifying match of the Asian Games for women hockey in Bangkok, Thailand.

Pakistan who beat Indonesia 3-0 in the qualifier with a well-converted penalty corner. Mayira Sabir from Pakistan took the lead and scored the opening goal in the 4th minute. The number 9 scored again to double the lead for Pakistan in the 16th minute.

While Indonesia thwarted to score any goal against Pakistan. Ambreen Arshad from Pakistan scored the final goal and completed the tally converting a penalty corner in the 29th minute.

Still yet Pakistan played four matches but it was the first victory of Pakistan in the Asian Games. Today Pakistan will compete against Singapore at 1:00 PM.
