11th National Tenpin Bowling Championship starts today
Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation (PTBF) in collaboration with Leisure City Bowling Club will commence the 11th National Tenpin Bowling Championship 2018 today at Leisure City Bowling Club Safa Gold Mall, Islamabad.
The championship is divided into different categories which include under 16 boys and girls, male singles, doubles, female singles and doubles, team event, trio event, deaf event, media event, diplomat’s event, doubles event and junior’s event.
About 300 plus bowlers from all across the country will participate in the event. The grand opening ceremony will be held today at 5pm. The five-day tournament will be played under the supervision of Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation (PTBF). KP Governor Iqbal Zafar Jagra will grace the inauguration ceremony as chief guest.
Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation (PTBF) secretary Ijaz Ur Rehman announced that prize money of Rs 700,000, while gold, silver, bronze medals, shields, certificates, shirts and other handsome prizes will also be handed over among the participants, winners as well as the bowler who will achieve the highest rank in the championship will be award by cash prize.
