Pakistan beat india in Armed Forces International Polo Tournament 2018
Pakistani Army polo team defeated their Indian counterparts by a huge margin of 15 to 3.5 goals in the match played in Nigeria.
According to the statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistan Army polo team defeated Indian Army team in a thrilling match played during the Armed Forces International Polo Tournament 2018 in Nigeria, at the 1212 Polo and Turf Club, Gwarimpa, Abuja.
At the end of the 4th Chukker, Pakistan Army Polo team lead the score with a huge margin of 15 to 3.5 goals, in what is described as the "most awaited" match of the event.
Pakistan Army Polo team is in Nigeria to compete for the Commander-in-Chief trophy, Veteran’s Cup and the Fallen Heroes Cup.
Indian Army Polo team was earlier defeated by Egyptian Army team as well, by a margin of 11 to 9.5 goals.
The tournament is organized from 11-14 January to commemorate the Armed Forces Remembrance Day and deepen diplomacy among the participating countries. Other teams participating in the tournament include the hosts Nigeria, USA, Egypt and Morocco.
