Pakistan women team to appear in Asian hockey qualifiers
Pakistani women team arrived in Bangkok to participate in Asian games hockey qualifying round to be held from Friday 12th January to Saturday 20th January.
Pakistan team is one of the seven teams to participate in Asian games women hockey qualifying round at Bangkok, Thailand. Top four teams from the tournament will qualify for the Asian games 2018 to be held in Jakarta, Palembang, Indonesia.
While talking to the media men, Pakistani women team Captain Rizwana Yasmeen has said that although we could not get enough time for practice for qualifying round but we will provide out best efforts. He also applauded the efforts of PFH to provide them opportunities to play against international teams. Pakistan team head coach has said that we really practiced hard on our defensive and forward line and will give good results in the tournament.
It is to be mention here that China, India, Korea, Japan and Malaysia have qualified automatically on the basis of previous Aisan games women hockey tournament.
Pakistan, Hong Kong China, Kazakhstan, Singapore, Chinese Taipei, Indonesia and hosts Thailand will vie against each other in the tournament. Tournament will be played on round-robin basis.
