Fatima Group in the semis of Pakistan Super Cricket League
Fatima Group after routing Akzonobal got through to the semifinal of Pakistan Super Cricket League at township white cricket club, Lahore.
In the all-important match, Fatima group defeated Akzonobal by 7 wickets in the last league match to join Descon, Jazz and Honda in the semifinal stage of Pakistan Super Cricket League (PSCL).
After winning the toss, Akzonobal choose to bat first and they posted 160 runs for the loss of 6 wickets on the board. In reply, Fatima Group played furiously to chase down the target in 15.3 over for the loss of just 3 wickets. Hassan Akhtar from Fatima Group was declared the man of the match.
Keeping in view the overcast conditions coming up, league’s management has rescheduled the dates of semifinals and decided to complete it in two days. In the first semifinal, Honda to play against Jazz at LCCA ground on Saturday 13th January at 11am while Deson will via against Fatima Group on Sunday 14th January at same venue.
