Pak judokas to train in Hungary for 2020 Olympics
Three Pakistani judokas to undergo for two month long intensive training in Hungary to prepare for 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Secretary Pakistan Judo Federation (PJF) Mansoor Ahmed revealed.
Judokas to travel Hungary next month where they would start the training at Dunavarsany, one of the greatest Olympics training center, He added. Standard of the Judo is improving in the country day by day and people are actively taking part in Judo activities so we have a good number of judokas available in our pool of players. Mansoor Ahmed told.
Federation is sending those players for training who displayed impressive skills and game in the national and international events in recent past. “We want all the support available from International Judo Federation (IJF) for Hungary training and we will send the best athletes for training ahead of Olympics, he further added.
Sharing details, he said the IJF would cover accommodation, meal and training cost, while PJF would bear the traveling cost.
