Lahore to host 36th men, first ever women boxing championship
36th edition of Men and first ever women boxing championship starts from Saturday 20th January at WAPDA sports complex Lahore.
Holding the inaugural edition of women boxing championship will be history in the making as women boxers will be seen in action for the first time in the ring. The event will start from Saturday 20th January to Wednesday 24th January 2018.
The event will help identifying new boxing talent, both in men and women and the upcoming talent will be useful for Pakistan national team’s upcoming international assignments at home and abroad.
Men will be competing in to different weight categories while women will be seen in 3 weight categories.

- 52kgs
- 56kgs
- 60kgs
- 64kgs
- 69kgs
- 75kgs
- 81kgs
- 91kgs
- Above 91kgs.
Women Categories:
- 48-51 Kg
- 57-60 Kg
