Crescent School victories in Himont Cup Inter school hockey tournament
Crescent School outclassed Aitchison College 2-0 in the final of the Himont Cup Inter school hockey tournament at the National Hockey Stadium, Lahore.
Hannan Shahid and Aqeel Khan, the goal scorers wins the match for crescent school. Both the goals were scored in the second half other match. A large number of spectators including the Headmaster Aitchison College Andrew Egan and Vice Principal Crescent School, Col (rtd) Ali and others enjoyed the match.
Government High School Dhing Shah, Kasur defeated Kims school 3-2 in the third position match. Saqib, Osama and Qayyum found the target for the Kasur School. Salman and Shamoon were the scorers for the Kims Schools.
Mr Intesar Siddique, Chief Executive Himont Group distributed the prizes. He also appreciated the efforts of Olympic gold medallist Taqueer Dar, the president of Dar Hockey Academy who organised the event.
