Pakistan thrashes India to seal Gold in Dubai Baseball Cup
Pakistan smash out rivals India by 11-2 to win the Gold Medal in Dubai Baseball Cup at Little Baseball Field Dubai on UAE’s Independence Day.
The combined effort of Pakistan team won the match for Pakistan in a stressed clash. The Greenshirts scored 11 runs in nine innings, while India could only manage once apiece in the second and third innings. Skipper Umair Imdad Bhatti was the player of the match with five runs to his tally, which included a home run.
President UAE baseball softball federation Abdulkarim Saeed was the chief guest on the occasion. Syed Khawar Shah President and Syed Fakhar Ali Shah Executive Director Pakistan Federation Baseball welcomed the chief guest.
After the UAE, Pakistan and India’s national anthems, players and officials were introduced with the chief guest. After the match, Abdulkarim Saeed distributed the medals and trophies among the players.
