Pakistan Panthers beats Srilanka Veterans by 145 runs
Third successive victory for Pakistani veterans over 50 as they defeated Srilanka veterans by 145 runs.
Batting first Pakistan Panthers scored 269 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 35 overs. Ghulam Ali played well for his 112 runs in just 69 balls. Dastageer Butt 61, Usman Ali 44 and Zafar Ali 28 Runs were other top scorers. Ravi Suba Singay got 3 wickets for 73 runs and Sanat Rawindra took 2 wickets for 4 runs.
In reply Srilanka veterans only managed to score 151 runs are were bowled out in 25.5 overs. Ravi Suba Singay was top scorer with 46 not out runs. Sanat Ravindra 34, CK Hewamanna 19 and Thusitha Gunaqardena 18 were other top performers for Srilanka, Fawad Ijaz Khan took 3 wickets for 48 runs while Iftikhar Ahmed and Asim Jah got 2 wickets eand and Ashiq Qureshi picked 1 for 27 runs.
At the end of the match Chief Guest CEO Amar Cables Amer Ilyas Butt giveaway man of the match award to Ghulam Ali, CEO Umer Associates Nadeem Umer was also present on the occasion.
