Pak-India all set to play baseball Cup in Dubai
Pakistan and India to meet in the 2 match Dubai baseball cup scheduled to be held at Dulsco Playfield Alqouz Dubai on 9th and 10th December 2017.
The 1st of its kind cup will be played on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th December between the archrivals Pakistan and India. President Pakistan Federation Baseball (PFB) Syed Khawar Shah and Secretary Sh Mazhar Ahmad said that the federation has planned to hold the Dubai Cup Pakistan-India baseball series at at Dulsco Playfield Alqouz Dubai.
The said cup is also sanctioned by World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) under the arrangements of Pakistan Federation Baseball and cup’s points will be included in world ranking points.
Names of the team and officials were also announced by the PFB which includes Inayat Ullah Khan, Tariq Nadeem, Ihsan Ullah, Umair Imdad Bhatti, Jawad Ali, Arsalan Jamshaid, Nabeel Manzoor, Ubaid Ullah, Fazal ur Rehman, M Hussain, M Rafi, M Usman, M Waseem, M Zakir, M Sumair Zawar, M Usman, M Usama, Pervaiz Shah Khawar (team leader), M Mohsin Khan (manager), Sh Mazhar Ahmad (assistant manager), Mussadiq Hanif, Saleem Ahmad Khan (coaches) and Zafar Hussain (umpire).
The initiation of the cup will not only help to promote the game in the region but it will also provide a friendly environment between the two teams and will help the Pakistani players to get more experience for upcoming international games. Both the teams to reach Dubai today and after playing the series in a friendly environment, they will depart for their respective countries on December 11.
