The Punjab Athletics Stadium was built in 2003 at a cost of $220 million. The stadium has a capacity of 10,000 spectators.
The Stadium was designed by architect Khalil-ur-Rehman & Associatiates. The venue is also used for athletics, kabaddi, rugby league and rugby union.
It operates through the principles of connecting excellence, community and the sharing of international best practice at the highest level.
The stadium has a totally unique concept and puts coaching at the cutting edge of international athletics development.
