- In the girls’ singles final, top seed Turkish Mert Aysegul lifted the girls’ singles title by thrashing Russian Valitova Arina 2-0.
Background:
Players from 15 countries were participated in two back-to-back ITA SNGPL ITF Pakistan Junior J5 Championships, at Dilawar Abbas PTF Tennis Complex in Islamabad.
Players from Great Britain, France, Russia, Chinese Taipei, Uzbekistan, Korea, Kazakhstan, Nepal, Afghanistan, Iran, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, Turkey, and Moldova participated in the championship.
As per international ranking Daniel Webb (GBR) was the top seed in the event as per ITF ranking 420 in the world whereas Huzafia Abdul Rehman (PAK) was 2nd seed ITF Ranking 610. Other seeds were (3) Kim Min Joon (KOR), (4) Knese Luca Emanuel (GER), (5) Muhammad Nouman Aftab (PAK), (6) Shoaib Khan (PAK), (7) Saqib Hayat (PAK) (8) Ahmed Kamil (PAK).
