Although Pakistan socca football team failed to make its presence felt in the International Socca Federation (ISF) World Cup in Lisbon, but the team from South Asia impressed the jury and received ‘Fair Play’ award in Socca World Cup 2018
International Socca World Cup 2018
The championship featured a total of 32 teams from across the world who battled for top honors in the championship. All the teams had been divided into eight groups of four teams each. After playing matches against one another in the group, two top teams from each group qualified for last-16 knockout round. From here, teams progressed to quarterfinals, semifinals and eventually final.

Lahore’s Champions ICAW (I Can and Will) team qualified to represent Pakistan in this international event by winning the final of Leisure Leagues National Championship.
International Socca Federation (ISF) Vice President, Shahzaib Trunkwala hoped that the event will be a success story and prayed that Pakistan put a strong show in Europe. Mr. Trunkwala is also the President of the World Group that owns Leisure Leagues.
Winner: Team Germany won the Socca World Cup 2018 after defeating Poland 1-0.
