Omar Associates earned the final victory convincingly over State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) by 52 runs, lifting the trophy of Osaka Naya Nazimabad Ramzan Cricket Cup 2019 which concluded successfully at Naya Nazimabad cricket ground in Karachi.

Osaka Naya Nazimabad Ramzan Cricket Cup 2019 started from 9th May, 2019 in which as many as 16 teams lined-up to compete against each other with all their skills and talent so as to win the ultimate prize pursue of Rupees 5 Million that this mega cricket event offered. All the matches were at Lawai Cricket Stadium and Naya Nazimabad Cricket Ground in Karachi.
Information provided by the Broadcaster, Sikandar Bakht and former first-class cricketer, Mohammad Masroor, who is now a PCB coach, disclosed that the participating 16 teams were divided into four (4) pools.
Group A included: Omar Associates, Pakistan Air Force (PAF), Agha Estate and Santex Group;
Group B comprised: National Bank, K-Electric, Al-Rehman Foundation and Saima Group;
Group C had: State Bank, Karachi Port Trust, Pakistan Currency and Alamgir Gymkhana;
Group D consisted: SSGC, Port Qasim, Pakistan Customs and KK Panthers.
Two matches were scheduled daily during the league phase with the first match starting at 08:00 PM sharp and the other at 12:00 midnight. The quarters-finals were scheduled for 23rd and 24th May while the semi-finals were staged on 25th May, followed by the final on 26th May.
Among several participating teams, Omar Associates stands as the champions of this mega cricket tournament for which the title winners were awarded with Rs. 1.2 million worth of cash prize while State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) managed the runner-up spot bagging a prize pursue of Rs. 600,000. The Man of the Match of each encounter got a motorbike.
This mega cricket event, for the first time, had all of the 31 fixtures telecasted live and two drone cameras were also used for the coverage of each match.
